The ACR1281U-C2 Card UID Reader provided by ID Tech is a highly efficient contactless card reader capable of automatically obtaining the Unique Identifier number (UID) of any ISO 14443 Parts 1-4 Type A and B-compliant contactless card. This reader is designed to retrieve the UID of a presented contactless card, such as a MIFARE card, and return it directly to the PC. The UID output can be directed to various editing tools, including Notepad, MS Excel, and MS Word. By utilizing the UID, cardholders can be accurately identified in various applications such as identity verification, time & attendance, and access control. Additionally, the ACR1281U-C2 includes an anti-collision feature that ensures only one card is accessed when multiple cards are presented simultaneously.

The ACR1281U-C2 Card UID Reader by IDT is a contactless card reader designed to effortlessly obtain the Unique Identifier number (UID) of any ISO 14443 Parts 1-4 Type A and B-compliant contactless card. When a contactless card like a MIFARE card is presented to the reader, the UID is promptly retrieved and automatically sent to the PC. The reader allows for direct output of the UID to various editors, such as Notepad, MS Excel, and MS Word. This feature is especially useful for applications like identity verification, time and attendance, and access control, where cardholders can be accurately identified. Additionally, the ACR1281U-C2 includes an anti-collision feature to ensure only one card is accessed when multiple cards are presented simultaneously.
What’s more, because the ACR1281U-C2 is compliant with the Human Interface Device (HID) standard, driver installation issues are minimized during integration into PC environments. It can support most operating systems, including Microsoft® Windows, Linux, and other embedded systems.
